For Travel Creators
Your audience has seen the tourist version of Malaysia. We give you access to the one they have not.
Real access
Markets before they open. Vendors at the first batch of the day. Home cooks in their own kitchens. Places tourists never get to.
Filming freedom
Permission coordinated with every vendor in advance. You create, you do not ask permission on the spot.
Story, not script
We do not hand you a script. We hand you people with decades of craft and let their stories shape your content.
Content your audience has never seen
Most food content from Malaysia is filmed at the same stalls, from the same angles, at the same busy hour. We operate differently. Our guides know the vendors personally: the ones who have been at the same corner for four decades, the home cook who learned from her grandmother, the fisherman who still goes out the traditional way.
That is the difference between a generic food video and a story that travels. We get you in front of the people, at the right time, with permission already in place.
What you can film
- Morning markets: Vendors setting up, first customers, produce at its freshest
- Vendor craft: Char kway teow over a 60-year-old wok, sambal pounded by hand
- Home cooking: Family recipes passed down through generations, in family kitchens
- Producers: Palm sugar farms, durian orchards, tea plantations, fishing villages
- Guides at work: The people who explain it all, in four languages
Hosted experiences
We host a limited number of creators each season: those whose audiences travel to Southeast Asia and whose work fits our values. If that is you, tell us about your audience and show us your past work.
No scripts, no staged moments, no fake urgency. Just access to people who have been doing this for decades.
What a hosted day looks like
- Early start: Markets at opening, before the crowds, when vendors are at their most honest on camera
- Unscripted access: We introduce you, then step back. You direct the shoot, the vendors keep working
- Practical help: A guide who knows the vendors, the food history, and the local context, in English, Malay, Mandarin, or Cantonese
- Multiple locations: Market, hawker stalls, home kitchen, producer, fishing village, depending on your story
- Reasonable breaks: It gets hot, the food is plentiful, and we schedule around your shoot, not ours
What we ask of you
- Usage rights: Standard creator agreement. You keep editorial control of your content, we ask for the right to share your work and a credit where it makes sense
- Heads-up on sensitive content: If your angle includes criticism of a vendor or practice, tell us in advance so we can choose the right locations
- Consistency with our values: We do not host content that misrepresents Malaysian food culture, its people, or its heritage
We have been doing this since 2011. We know which vendors welcome cameras, which moments land on camera, and which stories travel. That is the part we bring. The craft is yours.
